Workspaces on Pierre

Workspaces are the foundation of organizing work and people on Pierre. Learn how to use them to manage repositories, members, and integrations for yourself or with your teammates.

Workspaces on Pierre are the outermost container for managing the repositories, members, and integrations for a given organization or individual. Everyone must have at least one workspace, but you can also create as many Workspaces as needed and easily switch between them.

First workspace

When you first sign up for Pierre, you’ll be asked how you want to use Pierre—as a team or for personal use. Whichever you choose, this will create your first workspace. For personal use, we automatically create a workspace using your name (e.g., Mark’s Workspace). Teams have a couple extra steps to name their workspace and invite members.

Consider reading the new workspace guide for help creating your first workspace.

From here you can create new or push existing repositories, invite others, manage integrations, and more to your workspace.

Additional Workspaces

Create additional workspaces by clicking the workspace switcher in the top left corner of the app and selecting "Create a workspace." You can create as many workspaces as you need, and each workspace can have its own repositories, members, and integrations.

Switching Workspaces

After you create additional workspaces or are invited to someone else’s workspace, they’ll show in your workspace switcher. Select one to switch to it.
